Oxyal™ is a lubricating opthalmic solution, containing hyaluronic acid extracted from in a fermentation process (non animal source), with Protector™, which is a filmogenous polymer that provides an optimal and prolonged comfort in a balanced electrolyte solution, slightly hypotonic, with the biodegradable preservative Oxyd®. This increases the efficacy of the hyaluronic acid and optimises the viscoelastic properties of the Oxyal product.

PROTECTOR™

• Prolongs the wetting action of the solution on the corneal epithelium and reduces the evaporation of the tear film
• Optimises the viscoelastic properties of hyaluronic acid and improves comfort
  

• Increases the wetting power of hyaluronic acid

OXYAL™

• Slightly hypotonic and counteracts hyperosmolarity of the tear film, which is typical of dry eye
• Lasts up to seven times longer than hypromellose on the eye, patients do not need to use it as often and therefore it improves compliance

• Excusive rapidly biodegradable preservative
• Devoid toxic effect and allergising or irritative activities at corneal level
• Increases compliance
